EZ ICE PRO Home Arena System™ Assembly Guide

Welcome to the EZ ICE Family!

Congratulations on your new EZ ICE PRO Home Arena System®, and welcome to the EZ ICE® family. I’m excited for you to assemble your rink and start skating! My goal for EZ ICE is to get one million kids Off the Device & On the Ice.

I grew up skating on an outdoor ice hockey rink in my backyard. My best childhood memories are skating for hours with friends and family, playing game after game with teammates, and then coming off the ice for my mom’s homemade hot chocolate and French toast. I invented The EZ ICE 60 Minute Backyard Rink® in 2016 to bring these same childhood memories to thousands of kids and families across North America. Now, EZ ICE is taking outdoor hockey to the next level with the PRO Home Arena System. The PRO Home Arena System brings all of the thrills of a professional hockey rink right to your backyard, with the same ease of assembly as our original rink.

All EZ ICE Rinks are designed for assembly on any flat solid surface without the use of tools. A team of Backyard Rink Experts is available to answer any questions you may have about the product, assembly, maintenance, and take-down. Feel free to give us a call at (262) EZ–ICE60 (262-394-2360), send an email to customer_experience@ezicerinks.com, or chat on our website at ezicerinks.com.

We want your winter with EZ ICE to be the best it can be, and we hope your rink brings you many years of joy.  For your safety, and to get the most out of your EZ ICE rink, it is important that you read and follow all of the warnings and instructions in this document before installation and use of your rink.  As part of the EZ ICE family, we hope that you will share your experiences with us. Don’t forget to send us your favorite pictures and videos of your rink and tag @ezicerinks in all of your social media posts. Let’s get started!

Happy Skating,

IMPORTANT SAFETY INFORMATION AND WARNINGS:

  • Warning: Failure to firmly tighten straps may lead to perimeter separation, and injury or death.
  • Warning: Always use caution when skating near rink perimeter and only skate at speeds that allow the user to come to a complete stop before reaching rink side walls. EZ ICE side walls are not designed to withstand the force of skaters and skating into the side walls may result in the user falling out of the rink and/or cause injury.
  • Caution: It is possible to drown in a small amount of standing water. User must verify that the rink is completely frozen over before use and monitor the rink and environmental conditions to make sure the rink is frozen and safe for use each time before skating. Attempting to skate on a rink that has not yet frozen over, or was frozen and melted, may cause damage to the rink, as well as serious injury or death.
  • Caution: You are responsible for checking that the space on which you assemble your rink is suitable in accordance with the Assembly Instructions, and that it does not have more than nine inches of slope. Do not put more than 12 inches of water or less than three inches of water in your rink. EZ ICE® Rinks freeze naturally due to the temperature of the surrounding air and underlying ground.
  • Caution: When frozen, your ice rink is a hard surface. There are many recreational uses for your EZ ICE rink, and the user is solely responsible for ensuring the product is used safely for any sport or activity, and that users and guests use appropriate protective equipment.
  • Caution: Do not allow children on or around the ice rink unsupervised.
